The 2008 NFL draft saw three Hawkeyes drafted. Safety Charles Godrey was drafted by Carolina in the 3rd round, defensive end Kenny Iwebema was drafted by Arizona in the 4th and linebacker Mike Humpal was drafted by Pittsburgh in the 6th. No surprise that Young and Sims were undrafted, both are a little undersized for the NFL. I thought that Mike Klinkenborg was going to be drafted but he never heard his name called. Congratulations to Godfrey, Iwebema and Humphal. We’ll look forward to seeing them on Sundays.
